This chicken crate was picked up some
years ago at a barn sale--perfect
for carting our pleasingly plump birds
to the butcher,
...until this summer that is, when I decided I needed
it for a project.
And, the hens did not at all mind parting with it :)
Some sanding, lots of scrubbing, some stain,
a bit of homemade beeswax polish,
four casters {found at a yard sale for $5},
and a glass top,
and it was ready for the sunroom.
