Progress so far on JellyThe Red Heart bulky is making this a quick knit (As they say)
The skirt goes off at and angle in crochet, I like angling the bottom verses a straight edge, I thinks it's just much more interesting to the eye.
I discovered how to make the waist band checker effect completely by accident, I'm not actually sure what I did, but I like how it sits on the mannequin.
I then used the 15mm round needles to pick up the stitches and knitted beginning to add the skirt panel.(Red flecky, fluffy yarn)
Then I added the waist band, using cotton and acrylic yellow to make it a thicker yarn.
