My Foot, Arm's a Fat Bottom and Crochet.

Foot 1st

I mentioned
MY FOOT OP and here it is.
(apologies if you're squeamish I kept it small)

I hope that the shock is out of the way(scroll down quickly)

And we can continue with the Arm part.

Arms

Africa
is my crocheted /knitted comfy cardi ,

well maybe waist coat ?

I'm not quiet sure that's what you title a sleeveless cardigan

(that was plan 1)

but I have changed my mind with trying on!

I decided that it needed sleeves, naked arms past 35! Oj oj oj.

Bottoms

Fat bottom
,

With my injured foot that's been on and off since Christmas

(jogging injury)

Travel and that teamed with my foot op

(ganglion removal)

I have spent yet another week

on what feels like.........

my ever growing fat bottom.

My arms should be toned, as I have been mainly stitching.

But I'm feeling very closed in, today I ventured to post a letter,
a major feet.
(foot pun;-)

The stitches are where you would pull your trainers tight.

This and the fact that where I live is an ice rink.

More snow than I can be bothered to mention.

Counting the days down until
Thur,

When my bandage is changed and my foot checked.

Hopefully heeling and I can get back to my routine.

And I can't wait!!!!!!!

Crochet part

Sleeves, I made both at the same time for quickness and also
to remind me what it was that I did.

So far so good.

Crochet Stitches and a Sore Foot.

I had a foot op on Thursday, so a bit of pain a little more than I expected.

(Nothing major, a ganglion that had to be removed)

I ran my knit Cafe on Friday, forgetting to cancel.

And not one to be a let down;-0.

I slightly over did it!

So A lot of mindless stitches have been stitched,

This is a bag that been on the go for a couple of weeks

(Train crochet/small project bag)

Odds and ends.......

As you can tell it blends in well with my Africa Cardi
(As I used all the odds left so far)

I completed the strap,

Attaching by two button holes,

That I made at the top of the bag.

Pushing the strap through the holes

Attaching with an over sized button.

Strap and Button

Major foot rest day = feel sorry for my self!
(Big time)

So a whole lot of mindless stitches as the concentration is at a low level!;-(

The front flap flap the bag was one of my practices pieces,

from when I was making the Blythe shawls.

It fitted pretty nicely and then I edged it with the denim acrylic

To give it some weight.

My cute Pup, well teenager!

Rasmus

He needed to get some rest to, dreaming about his ball and grass

And not having the horrible snow;-)

Come on Spring..........

Crochet commenced into 2010.

A gift from Lisa (The fashionista)

Here the end result of the bag that,

I crocheted into 2010

(while the fire works exploded over Stockholm)

All my family and guests hit the patio.......

I sat cuddled up with my Rasmus,
whom unfortunately was just a big bit afraid.

(little Pop's and Honung slept through:-)

Over xmas I created little blocks of free-form/new and old stitches.

Mindless fun

(late stitching so not technical, we had guests!.)

Free-form ,

Textured ,

Structured.

If it was fabric it would look like patched work.

As each different coloured part was a separate piece.

I stitched them all together, using a chain stitch.

Thus creating a rectangle,almost.......

Adding extra detail, as I went.

New years day our guest leave.

Commenced operation-de Christmas

Remover of all xmas

(Borbles/tree/chintz!)

As we travel soon.

Big adventure for my daughter,:-(

Big year for my son.

And a big holiday with one of my oldest friends

(South Africa is my newest adventure)

Inspiration and flow

What with all this years stressful challenges,
(Hopefully not to stressful)

I needed a good start.......thank goodness for the

Sticks/needles/HOOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My all things, yarn related addiction, keeps my sanity.

So a quiet blog for a
couple of weeks.

A cast off, charity shop WIP, what will it become.

Cute label and pretty much me.

New project

This was a charity shop find.

Plastic bag, tied up containing three full yarns,

Two used.

One front(ish) and half a back.

Packaging for a circular needle but not contents.

A forgotten WIP

No pattern

(Not that I would use it)

I picked up the stitches,

I figured that I could make something.

With these originally, once loved little stitches.

Not sure what?

I do have a lot on, but Christmas is coming and I'll get some catch up time.

20krs that's £2!

Bargain

Free form
Crochet

Skirt ,dress, jumper......who knows?.

Stitch practice.

Crochet Rib stitch

(Possibility for stretch and to not used elastic in my skirts)

Practice makes perfect.

Pink cake icing.

Almost!, that's my name for this stitch

The pink is a new made up stitch.

I simply ran up and down a crochet chain;-).

Teen crochet bag

Lemons and limes!
1st prototype

Here is the 1st of the trail bag pattern, that I am designing/making, for the teenage knit cafe that I'm planning for my kids school.

I will work on a few variations of the same bag just so I can show being individual with a pattern.

Again a really easy pattern as its for learning beginner crochet;-)

I like the buttons, leaving some strings hanging
give it
a funky but easy look.

Lemons and lime yarn I used two and then dropped one and picked up the other to get the stripes.
Again easy but effective.

K,I,P

(knit in public day, world wide this Saturday)
http://www.wwkipday.com/

It's nearly knit in public day and really
I don't think I need to share this day, as I KIP most days!

Today was the kids last day of term and that involved a
church service, no religion involved really
.

Just place that a lot of people can gather and get the years Awards, Graduates graduate and the other ceremony's done, school year end.

And for me the perfect opportunity to start teen bag, no2
watch this space;-)
