Here is my knitted flag,so far it has turned into a top. The crochet front is in one piece and then I attached the knitted stripes on as the back. I have made a band at the top, so I can tread a ribbon through(Swedish official ribbon that's used for the school graduation party's)
This is to give the boob tube part extra staying power;-)
