We have had some hot days lately but autumn is in the air ~ cooler in the morning and
darker~so hard to get out of bed this morning when it was still pitch black outside. The plants in the garden are dwindling. Today I picked some more tomatoes for canning...maybe tomorrow.
I cut the pumpkins and placed them on some straw between the sunflowers and the strawberry plants.
Also harvested the gourds ~
the ornaments of the garden~ not a lot of them, but enough for a little bit of autumn decorating. I gave them a good showering off and left them on the chair to dry.
Still working on some dishcloths and experimenting with different stitches, colors, and edgings. For those of you who asked, I will let you know when I add some to the
shop.
